The scissors actually work. They are tight enough that the paper doesn't just bend.The papers that come with it are really cool too. I'm actually looking for another box of papers for cutting.

Nice first scissors for toddlers
Bought these for my then 2 year old who loves arts & crafts. These have been safe for her, love the colors. Kept a few at Grandmas house and some at home.
