My favorite glue stick is Elmers Xtreme, I have tried numerous other glue sticks, but none were even close. I did my own test and these were not as tacky going on, but when I went back the next day and tried to take the paper apart it held as good as the EX, and is much less expensive. I am happy with it. It did not hold fabric quite as well as the EX, but better than others I have tried. Of course I must admit that I do not ever go back and try to take paper or fabric apart like I did in my test, so probably I will go ahead and use it on fabric in my journals.
