I bought these to cut yarn one strand at a time, so they work well for that. Since these appear to be for children, they would not be comfortable for using to cut a lot at one time. I wish these had more of a sharper point; the blunt point seems a little awkward. I was trying to find something that didnt have a micro point because that can be hazardous to furniture (and skin!) if you accidentally sit it, not mentireally dangerous to pets. Too bad it is so hard to find small scissors that arent these childs blunt tips, but not micro tips either. Something in the middle. Hello, scissor manufacturers?
